Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, supposes that the Parliament should adopt a Resolution to permit the Military Trainings of the Foreign Troops Subdivisions in the Territory of Ukraine
In the interview to Rada television channel, V.Lytvyn stated that the above-mentioned issue would be discussed after 11 May. The Head of the Parliament stressed that "the issue should be adopted by The Verkhovna Rada, not the coalition, as almost 10 trainings with the participation of the American, Slovakian, Belarusian and Russian troops are scheduled." "Therefore, this document shall take into account all the interests, especially foreign political ones", he stated.
As to the benefits of this resolution, V.Lytvyn singled out the receipt of funds for the military trainings held in the territory of Ukraine, obtainment of experience of the national military service officers in the trainings with the participation of foreign colleagues.
"The adoption should be adopted, following the example of the whole world; political preferences should be abandoned, as we are state figures and must behave correspondingly", he summed up.
